About Indo Voyages
Indo Voyages was founded by Herman Paseru, a native of Tana Toraja born in 1984.
Growing up in a Torajanese family, Herman was immersed in Toraja traditions from an early age. He attended funeral ceremonies, thanksgiving celebrations, traditional gatherings, and village rituals alongside his parents and local community. These experiences created a lifelong connection to the cultural heritage of Toraja and the wider island of Sulawesi.
In 2004, Herman moved to Denpasar, Bali, to study English at Warmadewa University. During this time, he met travelers from around the world, especially from France, which inspired him to study French at Alliance Française de Denpasar.
His passion for language and cultural exchange later brought him to France, where he continued his studies in Saint-Malo and Strasbourg. These experiences helped shape the foundation of Indo Voyages as a Sulawesi francophone travel specialist focused on authentic local experiences and cross-cultural understanding.
Over the years, Herman has worked across hospitality, guiding, and international cruise tourism while traveling extensively around the world. Today, he focuses on designing meaningful travel experiences across Sulawesi and Eastern Indonesia for both French-speaking and international travelers.

Indo Voyages is a Bali-based travel company specializing in cultural journeys and island adventures across Sulawesi and Eastern Indonesia.
Originally known through the francophone travel market as an Indonesia francophone travel specialist and Sulawesi francophone tour organizer, Indo Voyages was created to connect international travelers with the authentic cultures, landscapes, and communities of Indonesia beyond the usual tourist routes.
Being based in Bali allows us to combine international travel standards, easy travel coordination, and deep local expertise across the Indonesian archipelago, especially in Sulawesi and lesser-known destinations rarely explored.
From the ancestral villages of Tana Toraja to remote islands, traditional communities, and hidden coastlines, we design meaningful journeys for travelers seeking deeper experiences, human connection, and cultural understanding.
